On April 3, the Annual General Meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia was held, the President of the National Academy of Sciences Radik Martirosyan handed over to the newly elected foreign members the certificates to join the Academy. Certificates were also given to the former employees of Yerevan Physics Institute Razmik Mirzoyan, Alexander Khodjamiryan.

Razmik Mirzoyan is a senior scientist at Max-Plank Institute for Physics Institute (Germany), and is a senior researcher at MAGIC and TAIGA international cooperations.

Alexander Khodjamiryan is a professor at the University of Siegen, Germany. He also worked at the Universities of Munich, Wurzburg, Karlsruhe and Siegen, and hosted to a number of European research centers, in particular Niels Bohr Institute of Copenhagen and CERN.

Both Razmik Mirzoyan and Alexander Khodjamiryan maintain close ties with the Yerevan Physics Institute, in particular organizing regular research seminars and lectures.

Razmik Mirzoyan’s next seminar on the methods of elementary particle detection will be held at YerPhI on April 8-10, while Alexandre Khodjamiryan’s in Octobor.
